Chocolate Avocado Mousse
Ingredients:
2 ripe avocados
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey/agave for sweetness)
1/4 cup coconut milk (or any milk of your choice)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
Optional toppings: Fresh berries, shredded coconut, or chocolate shavings
Instructions:
Prepare the Avocados: Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh into a food processor or blender.
Blend: Add cocoa powder, maple syrup, coconut milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the food processor or blender.
Blend until smooth: Blend everything together until it’s silky and creamy. Scrape down the sides if needed to make sure everything is evenly mixed.
Taste and Adjust: Taste your mousse and add more sweetener or cocoa powder if you want it sweeter or richer.
Chill: Transfer the mousse to bowls or jars and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
Serve: Once chilled, top with your favorite toppings (berries, coconut, chocolate shavings) and enjoy!
