Chocolate Avocado Mousse

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey/agave for sweetness)

  • 1/4 cup coconut milk (or any milk of your choice)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Pinch of sea salt

  • Optional toppings: Fresh berries, shredded coconut, or chocolate shavings

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Avocados: Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh into a food processor or blender.

  2. Blend: Add cocoa powder, maple syrup, coconut milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the food processor or blender.

  3. Blend until smooth: Blend everything together until it’s silky and creamy. Scrape down the sides if needed to make sure everything is evenly mixed.

  4. Taste and Adjust: Taste your mousse and add more sweetener or cocoa powder if you want it sweeter or richer.

  5. Chill: Transfer the mousse to bowls or jars and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.

  6. Serve: Once chilled, top with your favorite toppings (berries, coconut, chocolate shavings) and enjoy!

This mousse is rich and creamy, and the avocado makes it ultra-smooth while still being nutrient-dense.
